it’s toasted: experimental analog photography

Following the functionality of QR codes and their imaging role, I test by using toast as a pixel substrate.

To save material and reduce the image size, I cut a slice of toast into 36 pixels. These are toasted at 4 brightness levels (in the oven). I only use the darkest level for the QR code test image.

I build the QR code that leads to my website from a matrix of 21 x 21 pixels.
